Moderation: Live to do it another day.

Extreme: Practice makes perfect and live your hobbies to the fullest any chance you get.

Less extreme: It's good to get away for awhile to reset and be diverse in other hobbies.[Please note that getting away is like a vacation and not considered a moderate get away or moderation]

Other: ???

Please explain why you feel this way. Thank you

I know I can progress the fastest going extreme but I only care about getting there smoothly with the least amount of stress not getting there the fastest.

If it's "profeessional", it's no longer a hobby.

Depends upon the Hobby
Bass Fishing: extreme, do it and think about it alot, fish tournaments, spend lots of money and time
Hunting and Shooting: moderate, like them and do it when ever someone else wants to go

It also depends upon how much expense is involved, both for the basic equipment needed and the ongoing expense of using it (if any).

How come you quoted the word professional? Couldn't you be a professional at your hobby minus the contest scene, money making, and fame?

I want to let people know that you don't need these things to determine if you're a professional. I will respect you equally. I know a person who will do just as well as a "professional" on any given day at any location and you won't find him on the internet, tv, etc.
