Buffalo has made tanking an art. Eichel in '16 and now on the eve of landing Dahlin.

Tanking does not help teams improve in the number of wins or winning the Stanley Cup.

If the Buffalo Sabres can rid themselves of the underachievers drafted and acquired by former general managers Darcy Regier and Tim Murray, they will be a step closer to being competitive.
