Wow, such a star in my world back then. Or rather a star among stars back then. He was such a gentle soul and never failed to make time for his fans. The entire team used to do a lot of charity work back then and one in particular that students from a certain school will recall. There was to be no hoopla-no cameras (outside), and no pats on the back. They came and spent several hours with the kids, answered questions, gave them autographs, gave them hockey pucks and jerseys. But most of all gave them time and treated them like any other kids. It was indeed special to be part of that. Thanks Clarkie.
