Game 7 in hockey playoffs is the most exciting thing in sports.
This Friday will be nuts. I have absolutely no clue what will happen. Nothing will surprise me. Rangers can win 1-0 or 7-2 and lose the same way. Nothing will be held back. I hope the refs swallow the whistles and let the boys play.

Good season. Just couldn't get it done.
McD played on a broken foot. Great heart!
And the loss of Zuke with a concussion was a major problem. But, every team has injuries, just gotta play through it.
Most Ranger fans I know are now rooting for the west, but I am pulling for the Lightning. I like Cally, Boyle and Strahlman and wish them well.
Usually when my team gets eliminated from the playoffs thats the end of the season for me as i dont really find a point in watching teams from other cities.

I am a hockey fan(Rangers fan since 1975). I enjoy watching good hockey, so I watch all the games throughout the playoffs. During the season, I watch as many games as I can. Probably watch an average of 3 games per day. The 3 months between the end of the Stanley Cup final game and the start of the next season is the worst time of year. What am I supposed to watch, baseball? Ugh, BORING!

You watch 3 games a day and when hockey is over you have no life till the season starts again?I guess you definitely define the term Fan.I find Hockey just not that exciting unless my team is in it...

every sport needs an off season - and nba, nhl, mlb seasons are way too long imo - too many games.....and these are the sports where I wait until the playoffs, sometimes the finals before even tuning in for the most part...... watching 6-7 hrs a day of a sport is pretty unproductive imo, but so is posting on CDF throughout the day.

Same here. Besides, the Wings are (were) my team in the west so I'm not much of a Hawks fan. Bolts have a tough hill to climb being down 3-2. Let's see what they got!
Loss of Hags and Talbot could be bad news. I thought Talbot would have been better in net against bolts, could control puck better and has a better glove.
