You'll want some continuity with the trim in regards to the rest of the house.
As far as order, walls first, then trim.

Always and forever !!!!

What do you think about Cellular shades like these Decor - Blinds & Window Treatments - Blinds & Shades - Cellular at The Home Depot ? I am intrigued by them because they let some light through and insulate during the winter.

What kind of paint finish would you recommend? Is a primer neccesary? Also, how many coats should I paint?

Cell shades are fine. I would do a matte or eggshell finish for ease of cleaning. You shouldn't need a primer, but will probably need 2 coats.

If you have beige furniture, why not try to go a little 'zen' (you seem like a person into nature) and go with a soft green color? I think that would look pretty cool.

I just finished painting my room. I really like the way it turned out. I will post pics once I get the right blinds.

What color blinds do you think will go well with SW6163? I am leaning towards a white cellular blind but I am afraid it my look stark. Any suggestions

I would do a cream/off white rather than stark white.....I would then do a valance or drapes that coordinate with the bedding, to soften the window.

I don't know what wall color you chose. Did I miss a link to it? I am personally a fan of roman shades. They are clean looking and with great window trim, no other type of window treatment in necessary, IMO. I have wood ones that I purchased from Lowe's but JcPenney has a lot of options in fabrics.

JCPenney : Savannah III Roman Shade (http://www3.jcpenney.com/jcp/X6.aspx?GrpTyp=STY&ItemID=1a09b6b&DeptID=70751&Cat ID=70822&SO=0&SelDim=5%7e&x5view=1&NOffset=0&Ne=5+ 586+1031+1028+18+904+833+949&shopperType=G&N=42949 53317+4294964215&Nao=0&PSO=0&CmCatId=70751|70822 - broken link)

Here is an example of what my room looks like now.
I would like to make it warmer.

Can you folks recommend me a color for my duvet cover that will match the wall. Also, what kind of rug would go with this ? Mirrors, lighting, floor lamps? I'm all ears.

Thanks
