I have a wall by my front door that I would like to place a piece of furniture against to hold my keys or whatever I have in my hand when I walk in.

It's a fairly skinny wall - maybe just 2 or three feet wide.

And I want the table to come at least 3 feet up - higher than most end tables. I thought maybe even a shelf of some sort...

Anyway, I prefer old wooden (even rustic) furniture. Marble top wouldn't be out of the question.

I've been browsing all over the web and haven't really found much...some occasional tables...but most seem to be too short.

Any suggestions? Links would be helpful!

Thank you.

It's hard to find something tall, but narrow enough to fit your space. Here are a couple tables that might work, but I have have no idea if they are you taste. Try some places like TJ Max or Ross if you have those near you.

Of course... where is the pix??
A shelf is a great idea - you can place it exactly where is most convenient for you.
A table right size and height will be hard to find.

How about a sofa table?? They're generally taller than an end table.
