Check Lazy Boy for the recliner. Pay attention to styles though. I'd stay away from the large old-fashioned recliners, and try to find a more stylish version. We bought a very stylish one several years ago, and we like it very well.

Lazy Boy also makes sofas. I am not exactly recommending this mfg, but am suggesting checking out a store to see if you like the styles. Lazy Boy stores style their merchandise, so it is easy to see the stuff in a room setting. I think their product is very good, especially as the price point climbs.

LaZBoy did come to mind....the prices seem moderate, I just wondered about what the
quality was like. A quick glance at their website showed lots of nice styles, and not the humongoid man-nest type of chairs I used to associate the brand with. Thanks, I'm going back to the website to look around.
