Does anyone have a source for exterior hanging globe lights? As seen below:

The only hanging globe lights I can find in this size and style are interior lights that aren't rated for exposure to wet conditions.

I need a light for my car port so would prefer a fixture rated for wet conditions. However, this is going in the center of the car port and is set back from the sides far enough that it would never experience direct contact with water, even in driving rains. The only moisture it would experience would be the ambient humidity.

Could I get away with an indoor rated light? The previous owner did just that and it's had no problems yet (except the current light fixture is clearly and indoor light and looks incredibly out of place.

I really don't care for MCM.

Kichler makes great outside lighting.
Find a style that suits:

Love those pendants, but that's no surprise as it just meshes with my mod style

I was going to tell you to look at Y-Lighting but I didn't see anything on their site this morning on first glance.

I did see these outdoor pendants on their site, but they are an irregular/non-globed shape:

I really like the globe pendants you have pictured, so I hope you can find something! You might try contacting someone like Lux or Ylighting or Schoolhouse Electric to see if they can tell you which of their globe pendants might be rated for outdoor use (even if they aren't specifically listed in their "outdoor" section).

I dunno ... but I'll take any one of those houses!

Online sources like Rejuvenation or Lighting Direct might have something.

Although I believe these are "rated" for indoor use-
https://progresslighting.com/product...oduct=P4406-29
They could be used for outdoor use because of how they are constructed. But, they hang by the cord which means wind could have them swinging and where the cord connects to the globe mount maynot be water tight.

For your particular application I don't see any problem with that- other than the wind. There maybe some that are on downrods (dont know of any) that would limit the amount of swing.

Happy hunting...
