Yes, she changed everything, but the flavor of the place is much the same.

I love the green sofa! It caught my eye right off, but green is my favorite color, and I have a green sofa, too. (Although mine is more of a rich pastel shade than that deep green.) (Also, I don't care for the abundance of sofa cushions on the deep green sofa. I like a very streamlined sofa, myself. Too many cushions can look messy quickly.)

I think it's rather hard to completely change one's basic style/taste. She has changed out her furnishings and given her place a fresh new look which probably stimulates her creative side and makes her happy, but it's not like she's gone from preppy to goth.

I would call that purging, just changing it up a bit.

The fridge tempaper is very interesting and expensive. Has anyone ever tried that?

I don't see a difference AT ALL. The rooms have just as much stuff as they always did. So she replaced 20 small pictures in the bedroom to three big pictures - it's still occupied wall space.

She just replaced things with *different* things.

I agree, it's just swapping out new versions of mostly the same stuff. She barely changed the placement of things, just swapped out one thing for another.

And yes, definitely too much stuff for my tastes as well, as several others have said.

For some reason, I really, really hate her refrigerator. I also didn't like the multiple mirrors in the bathroom. I like her sense of style and I think it works.

I'm really intrigued by the vinyl floor cover. I'm definitely going to look into that for one of my bathrooms. I don't know about simply laying it over the tiles, though. I would think you'd have to have a completely smooth service.

I don't see much of a difference and her refrigerator is an eyesore.

Really? They seemed like the same view to me. Maybe off by a few inches, if even that much.

I'm not a fan of her style. I especially hate all those pictures she has hanging in weird groupings all over the house. TOO MUCH ON THE WALLS.

And I also wondered what sort of lighting she uses in her living room, since apparently there's not a lamp to be found in there.

If it works for her and she thinks it looks good that is what matters, personally I would toss most of what she has in the trash and start over but her taste and mine are different.
