I'm so sorry for the title but I have no idea what it's really called. lol

I saw a picture somewhere of words on a wall and also on a mirror. I think you can pick your own sayings and colors. Is this something a person can do on their own?? I assume it's something like the appliques you put on kids walls?

vinyl wall words

They are so easy and look awesome... I love mine! Very easy to do and yes you can get just about anything.... you can look on ebay - there are many stores there where you can custom order or look at their ideas!

Edited to add this link: this is my favorite place to buy them

I've used this place: Wonderful Graffiti

They may be a little more expensive, but we put up a saying in our daughter room and it looks really nice. They also have a ton of pictures if you need ideas.

Right On The Walls - Vinyl Wall Lettering Words Art Decals Wall Stickers Vinyl Words Wall Quotes

Written Decor - Home

google "vinyl wall lettering"

In my kids rooms, we use painters tape to stick everything to their walls. They've cut letters out of simple construction paper, and I have made some nicer lettering with more sturdy cardstock and scrapbooking papers... LOVE painters tape because it doesn't ruin the walls or make any holes or anything.

We have also made larger "scenes" out of paper and taped it to the walls with painters tape. Last holiday season we did a giant Christmas tree scene that nearly took up an entire wall with decorations and gifts and flying reindeer. All with paper and painters tape. It works great, and is very affordable and easy to remove/replace/update/whatever.
