Fear of bed bugs and used furniture

I buy used furniture, I don't worry about it.
I would not buy a used mattress, anything with cloth/upholstery, etc., it's too hard to clean/sanitize.

I think that it is illegal to sell a used mattress in most states.

Upholstered furniture usually sells for next to nothing. Not many people will buy it unless it is a really nice antique.

Woodworms are almost impossible to get rid of. They are most commonly found in hardwood furniture from Europe.

I read somewhere that bedbugs dies at 130 degrees.
