We use our double garage as a place to sit around and play cards, etc. Tired of the bugs and leaves etc.......I have seen screens that can be bought from about 30.00 to 200.00 and up.

Does anyone have any first hand experience with these? I see so many different options and companies it is confusing to know what to do. Thankfully our garage is a standard size of 12 x 7.

12x7 ... that's doesn't sound like a standard size to me. It sounds like a 1-1/2 size ...

Typically, it's 8x7 or 9x7 for 1-car, 15x7 or 16x7 for 2-car.

Your question made me think of some folks I know here that have this big old unusual house with lots of french doors and no screens. They found these "removable" screens that work great. So, a little google search of "garage door screen" brought up several companies that make them.

Welcome to Garage Door Screens is just one.

Thanks. Yes - I found many sites, but the products are diverse in quality and price, so I was hoping to find someone who had some first hand experience with them. I want to make as wise a purchase as I can, and hopefully get it right the first time!

This company makes the screens you're asking about. They have a good product, expensive, but the best on the market. I have two of their screens on standard 36" doors. They are great..!
