Billy_J, and akck made some good points (loose electrical connection). A lose electrical connection cause lights and other appliances in the same circuit to go out intermittently.

As others said, call an electrician.

Based on that question, I would recommend calling an electrician to have it fixed. Again it is something easy for an electrician to fix, so will not cost much.
