I have two bowl type sinks and I've noticed water coming from the bottom of one of them. Is this an easy fix? I can rotate it so I was thinking maybe it needs some sealing...or does it screw on/off?
Look at the underside of the sink( you may need a light). If there is an overflow channel made of metal that has been enameled, looks like it has spot welded on, but, looks rusted, and that is where water is coming from, then it cannot be repaired.
The newer version will have a plastic overflow channel glued to the underside of the bowl.
Isolate if the water you see is only coming from the drain at the bottom of the sink bowl or running down the sides from the top area where the faucets are. Tighten nuts as needed, if the water continues, you’ll need to replace the washer.
