Easy way to get rid of ants, safely. Cinnamon. Get ground cinnamon from your local store and sprinkle it across all possible points of entry. Be generous. They will stop coming in. Repeat as necessary.

We had ants every spring. Worked every time.

AMDRO is an attractant ant bait. Used as directed it will eliminate the queen and the ant colony usually within 48 hours. It is the most effective ant control on the market that consumers can use.
Just sprinkle it lightly where the ants are seen, not in the entry hole, and the army ants will carry it down to the queen and kill her. The queen is attracted to it immediately. No queen, no ants.
I've used it for 20 years and have had no problems with it animal wise or people wise.
