I'm installing a new throne. Need to install a PVC flange into the cast. The flange has a compression ring that is threaded onto the PVC. I'm lost on what to do. My cast flange is currentlyflush with my new floor

You have to cut off the cast flange, install the compression PVC flange in the correct orientation for the toilet bolts, then use SS screws in the flange mounting holes- Done!

I'm sure there are several YouTube vid's; and you can do a search @ Terry Love Plumbing for answers.
