Good gosh. I probably lived in 10 different places before I was two!!!! When I was 10 I know we moved at least 5 times. So without sitting down and charting my house-history I am going to estimate probably around 80 to 100. I'm 63.
I've lived in ten houses. Seven were rentals and three were owned by either my parents or myself. Figure out my age from this: The first house rented for $15. per month and today, it would rent for about $1,300. The first family-owned house cost $6,500. to build and today, it would sell for about $325,000. If these houses were in Portland, Oregon, instead of Eugene, those amounts would be doubled.
I just moved into our most recent (and hopefully last) home. Counting from when I was a baby, I've lived in 10 different homes. I am 52. During my adult life age 18+, I've lived in 5 homes.

Interesting, how many military people are here, and I was one of them who grew up in an Air Force Family.
I don't know for sure how many homes we lived in, but it was a LOT.
In college, I lived in 4 different places, and then after graduating and marrying, I lived in 3. A cute little cabin while my husband finished his graduate degree, a nice rental house while we built our permanent home in Austin.
Last house, we built in 1986, had 3 kids and raised them all here, and we're not leaving here until we're dragged to a funeral home or a hospice. I don't ever want to move again.
