I saw three yesterday in the backyard, and one in the garage this morning. They really freak me out, but I don’t want a pest control service to come here and spray poison. Is there an all-natural way to get rid of them?
Well, the spiders are the all-natural way to help get rid of other bugs. So, you win some / you lose some.
Unless you have excessive spiders inside your house, I would not worry much about keeping spiders out of the outside of your house. But that's just me. Spiders are natural in your yard and will end up in your garage - that's just life.

I see quite a few spiders in my yard. They lived there before I did, and they are doing me a service by cutting down on the fly population. So I don't do anything about them except smile sometimes when I see them busy building their webs.
Spraying poison kills not only spiders but also beneficial insects and is overall bad for the environment. The vast majority of spiders are harmless to people. So I would suggest looking into ways to desensitize yourself so you're not freaking out all the time.

I'd consider seeing that number of spiders in a back yard in the peak of summer actually kind of low. This is when they are most active. One in the garage? That's it? You don't have a problem...well, you do, but its not the spiders. If you don't want them in your garage or house, keep clutter minimal. You want to discourage the insects they prey on! Keep rooms, cupboards, closets and other areas open, clean, and light. Spiders prefer shadowy undisturbed places. There are essential oils that they supposedly don't like to get on their feet (which is where their taste buds are located). Some people spray water/vinegar mixtures along baseboards and around doors to discourage them. A quick search found quite a few "traditional" repellent ideas including this:
My all natural way of ridding the house of a spider is to set a jar over it, slide a piece of stiff paper underneath, and carry it outside (or to the basement in winter). Spiders are shy and nearsighted, so I empathize with them, and I would rather rescue them than kill them. It's not difficult to do and it saves a living creature.
I don’t mind spiders that don’t bite, but black/brown widows and brown recluse spiders really get me worried for my family. I don’t want anyone to get sick from their bite! Is that unreasonable?

Nah. I was bitten by a recluse once. It made a nice divot for awhile. I found that a weak spray of bleach on surfaces discourages them. Black Widows are scary looking but not aggressive. Garage spiders are more likely to be harvesters (daddy longlegs) that are benign. Protection and a light source attracts insects. Insects attract spiders. Both attract frogs. I leave a small outdoor light on 24/7 Each spring and fall, it has a resident frog or two that enjoy the buffet. Very rarely is there a spider in the house.

Sweet and harmless.
