Difficulty in Finding Fridge to Fit Space (pool, appliance, kitchen)

I have looked so much and having difficulty to find a fridge to fit my space, which is 66 inches in height and 33 inches in width. I found a Whirlpool to fit, but the shelves don't adjust. And the bottom freezer fridges have to be ordered online and they don't have an ice maker. My neighbor had to cut her top cabinet about 2 inches in order to get a French Fridge.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

If you don't need a humungous refrigerator, Hotpoint and GE have models that would fit your space.

Thanks, but I really don't want to go back to the 1950's. Then again, I looked at those today and the vegetable drawer is not very big and it has no ice maker.

So like your a/c, no matter what suggestions you get you'll find something to shoot it down. If you're not willing to modify the space for a larger fridge- it is what it is!

Every fridge that has a freezer will make ice- you just have to fill the trays.

I think you are going to have to follow what your neighbor did and remove or shorten the upper cabinet, and then you will have a reasonable number of options in a 33 inch width. But that width and the low height combo is not going to give you the other features you want

The neighbor can't use the cabinets anymore and had to cover it with stuff on top the fridge in front of the cabinets. And repair guy told me it is very difficult to cut these cabinets. And I can not bend over that low as to the ground where the vegetable bin and the shelving too for the 1950's fridge.

I don't appreciate your responses K'ledge. I am not shooting things down. I can't seem to post anything without a smart aleck remark from you. No a/c still and now fridge problems

Well, what is it that you're looking for exactly that won't take you back to the 1950's? You're not going to fit a 28 cubic foot refrigerator into the space you say cannot be modified.

If I understand correctly you have a space that's of insufficient height to fit a larger fridge, probably in an older house. I guarantee you it is possible to cut or remove the cabinets above the fridge. You need to be in touch with someone who has more imagination than your "repair guy" who told you it's "very difficult".

You could remove the cabinets and put some shelves above the fridge. Unless you are very tall, that space up there is nearly useless anyway.
