Work was flawed, workers have not come back to correct.

OP clearly said the job was finished, accepted and paid for. It was two days later they found an issue after the fact.

2. Then, looking the job over later, they noticed flaws. Didn't say whether these "flaws" arose because the work hadn't been finished or because the finished work was crappy.

3. Later in the OP they wrote something about something not completed. Didn't specify what.

4. To make matters even more muddy, they didn't withhold final payment. A completed job could be found deficient at a later date. The problem is different.

So, which is it OP? Do you consider a job that hasn't met your expectations/contract terms to be incomplete? Or, was the completed work not acceptable? IMHO, depending on what the actual problem is, the appropriate recourse to be taken may be different.
I asked the same question above... they’re response doesn’t explain anything.

If the credit card treats it like a typical chargeback for "never received what was paid for", they will take that money back out of the company's bank account.

Now, depending how much the amount was, could that cause a huge financial hardship and maybe throw their account negative? Maybe.

How much time and effort did the OP spend trying to get them to come back?

As far as I’m concerned, if there was something about the job that they did not know about and did not find out about until afterward, then the job is considered incomplete. In fact it could be fraud if it was intentionally covered up. Not enough info from the OP on this though.

What kind of warranty/guaratee came with the job?

I'd think there'd be different avenues to pursue given the situation....ie: job never being completed vs completed and signed off on by homeowner who paid for the completed job....then something is noticed.
