And? Inform your LL. Document an apartment's condition with photos whenever you can. You want problems on record as soon as possible upon moving in so they can't claim you caused some sort of damage during your tenancy upon move out. The old I know-you know-I know bit. However, something like a creaky bathtub wouldn't be obvious during an initial walk through inspection. Let them know about it anyway.
Would resurfacing the tub help any with the creak?
Probably not. The creaking is due to something structural in the tub itself or what's supporting it. Resurfacing is superficial; a veneer of sorts. Veneers don't add much if anything to structure.

What part of "structural support" did you not get?
Tell the landlord the problem. If they fix it- great! If they don't, is it grounds for breaking the lease? Maybe. But it's a stretch, considering it only happens when you're actually using it!
I reached out to the matinance guy according to him all is normal it creaks because the surface is hollow and all the apartments are this way he said its nothing of concern.

Yes and that is why the better installers set the )acrylic/fiberglass) tubs in a setting bed to avoid the creaking and strengthen the bottom of the tub so that it has full bearing.
