We bought a house with a jetted tub. I've used it ONCE in the 2-years I've been here... and even then, just to soak. My youngest son thought it was a cool novelty & tried the jets. It was loud and his assessment was "meh". Also, it's very tall-- that may be the other reason none of us use it. When I remodel that bathroom, it's definitely coming out in favor of a nice soaking tub. Too bad-- the sellers put it in brand new & claimed to have never used it. It's essentially new but none of us like it.
Twenty years ago when we bought the house, the master bath came with a jetted tub. Used it a few times then the pump died. Never got it fixed so just use tub as a shower (the hall bath has a tub).
Now we plan to have the jetted tub removed and a low threshold shower put in its place. Maybe with two shower heads. And a bench.
Filling the jetted tub took a LOT of water and water is pricey where we live.
And the two of us prefer showers. Love those rain shower heads.
