Cat dander gets everywhere, so yeah, you'd need to do some thorough cleaning. Steam cleaning carpets might work but I'd plan to pull them up, washing and painting walls, use a good cover up primer, don't forget the HVAC system.
If you are looking to buy a home that has a cat, is possible to remove the cat odor from the carpets or walls or wherever the odor is?
I'm not talking about cat pee. I'm talking about cat hair or cat dander for allergies.
Is just as simple of steam cleaning the carpets or is there more to it? Do you need to wipe down the walls as well?
You need to be more clear to get better answers. Dander doesn't have an odor. So are you worried about dander, or odor?
