We have a tight 2 car garage, size wise, but can't really fit 2 cars in there because of the location of the entrance to the house. So, my car goes in the garage, the rest of it is filled with "stuff," and DH parks in the driveway. Works for me
Another one here with the tiny older one car garage, 1950's, and I can't imagine any car from that era being small enough to actually fit. I drive a small 4 door that barely fits, and it only goes in the garage when it snows.
It's a basement garage too, so the rest of the basement area is used for storage.
We have a 3-car garage. The third section is completely walled off and is my husband's office. The 2-car section houses 1 car, 4 strollers, 1 kayak, 1 bicycle, 1 rooftop carrier, tons of tools, a refrigerator, a table saw, 2 high chairs waiting to be put on Craigslist, 2 snowboards, and "Zorak things."

Reason: misquoted my "Space Ghost Coast to Coast" line
Where's the option for "I have a two car garage and I park two cars in it because garages are made for cars; storage sheds are made for storing shÃt?" That's my vote.
2 car garage for vehicles with one short shelf for car wash/waxing stuff. I also cringe when I see garages crammed with stuff....I prefer to keep my life simple, less is best.
We have a one-car garage that's so tight the spouse can pull his 2003 Hyundai Accent into it, but can't open the door to get out. It may have been built for a Model T, but even Model Ts had doors that swung out.
So we use the garage for storage. It's not packed tight, just a lawnmower, trash cans, garden stuff, etc.
Yes, but most Model T doors only swung out over the running board to they don't encroach like a modern car...
