A homeowner can do as well as countless hacks with equipment and little concern about the end result.
They are legion.
There is no code on gutter install(in North Carolina) which means there is no wrong way.
I don't care that much about seamless part, but I do care about the quality of work. I'd rather do it myself and know I do it right than spend money on some yahoos.
I see the OP is in TX. They could have codes because of hurricanes. Best to check.
Gutters do not look like they would be hard to install. I guess your skill level would be your answer.

You may be able to get a guy to run them off for you for a buck or so a linear foot.
Then, with a little learning, you may be able to do a great install.
I have had vinyl, installed myself. Aluminum is incredibly nicer, and not as expensive.
When we built the house we priced out installing the gutters ourselves with the available vinyl products and also an average price for a gutter company to install a good quality seamless aluminum gutter. Even with contract labor the seemless was only a slight amount more than DIY and vinyl. Our gutter installers did a great job.
In 2003 we had the heavy hail storms that dented the gutters good but they were still usable. As I drove around and looked at the vinyl installations they were destroyed beyond use. We did have the same company remove and put up new seamless (insurance covered it) and they are still going strong and look great. They did a proper job on our house in less than 3 hours with two people.
I've installed my own gutters previously, and, it's not complicated, but mine was on a tall two story house....very precarious and I wouldn't do it today on a similar house.
If I were the OP, I'd get an estimate from a contractor for seemless gutters as other have recommended here. Compare the costs to what a DIY install will cost you. As I recall, the ones I installed, aluminum, were only available in ten foot lengths, and I'd perfer seemless if I were to install gutters today.
BTW, I'm also in Texas, and don't think there are any code issues to worry about unless it's some HOA or local city ordinances you may have to deal with.
I don't think you would want plastic (vinyl) when they are going to be used a lot and in heavy sun exposure. Of course I would prefer seamless aluminum, but you can get sectional aluminum from Home Depot, etc...
If you really want to save some money by doing it your self at least have a company come and run it out seamless for you. Most places the code is to have it over entry ways.
