As alway, I look forward to September because the temps begin to trend down. For all you newcomers, it won't be sweater weather, but it will be noticeable. I was reminded of it today.

I started noticing the cooler mornings and lower highs 3rd week of August. We're past the summer hump!

When I was in the process of moving out here, people always told me that I never needed to own a jacket or a sweater. Boy was they wrong, the minute November and December hit that first year I was out here, I was in line at my nearest Burlington Coat Factory..

Personally, I CANNOT wait ......I love the FALL/WINTER/SPRING here in Houston. Summers are impossible at times.....

Temperatures in the low 90s now is much better.

Unfortunately that + the rain = mosquitoes are back in full force.

There is a big difference between low 90s and high 90s.

Exactly!! My front flower bed looks so ghetto compared to my neighbors because they hire lawn services!! I am just waiting for the cooler weather, then those weeks are mine!!

I know...it's amazing how nice 92* can actually feel to me now. I thought it was rather "chilly" yesterday morning!

So looking forward to sweater weather again.
