That would be great. I'd love one here in Kingwood.
Forgot to mention that Clear Lake might be out because of the NASA problems right now. Wouldn't want to put a store in a neighborhood with a questionable future!

Would be great to get one in Kingwood/Humble area. Currently we drive to Tomball once a month to use the one there.

Costco and Sam's aren't even in the same universe.

We used to live a mile from Costco's headquarters in Issaquah, WA. One thing for sure about them: they are famously secretive about the location for new stores. They can be almost done with building it and starting to hire new employees and they still won't release details until much later than you would expect. I am not sure why.

Do you mean the one near Willowbrook? Tomball is a good 10-12 miles further out from there and it doesn't have a Costco.

We go to that one every once in a blue moon. We tend to like the one over by Willowbrook better. It seems to be laid out better or something.

Seriously?

I normally provide links to "facts" - not rumors...that's why I was asking here...to see if anyone actually had facts or had also heard the rumors.

Even if I had linked, everyone would have been denied access; it's a private mommy message board. I can DM you if you'd like to join to talk about poopy diapers and potty training.

I grew up on Costco (in the 80's) as I am originally from WA state. We lived 80 miles from the *only* one in Spokane, WA (and were perfectly okay with that!) ... and so I guess that makes me a "life-er!"

Never have a problem traveling for a Costco. It's that kind of store. It's not a go weekly to HEB kind of thing.

It's more of a "while I'm here... I'll buy THIS" kind of destination. They sell in bulk... so it's not meant to be a weekly visit (even for my family of 5)

If we had one in every neighborhood like HEB, I doubt they would sell as much in bulk. I have caught myself rationalizing a purchase at the Bunker Hill Costco, that I better get "___" while I'm already here. (Live in Katy)
