Do I need city permit/HOA approval for irrigation? (New Territory, Sugar Land)
Regular RainBird sprinklers, 6 zones.

If a city permit, where do I check?

Thank you.

Yes you do. Call your HOA. You even need one for repairs or improvements. Is crazy

Most of the time HOA requires notification and or approval. Just call the city for permit requirements, most of the time they are very helpful.

New Territory is not actually located in the City of Sugar Land. New Territory is Sugar Land's ETJ. Until New Territory gets annexed, it follows the rules/laws of Fort Bend County.

According to the Homeowner's Handbook, you do not need to get Modification Committee approval as long as you water your own yard and do not water streets, or sidewalks. You can view this on the New Territory website.
