Wow! That is... just wow!

The first thing I thought of when I saw the shiny (marble?) floors is how slippery they must be. Are the stairs done in marble too?

Did you guys notice that some of the heads in the death room have bodies painted on the walls? So the stuffed heads have matching painted bodies... wtf.

[quote]

Wtf is right. What's up with the senior-style rooms with all the stuffed animals in them? One of those rooms have a night stand with naked ladies sculpted all around the base, that's real normal for a little child's room right? And nothing says class like painted hula girls on the backyard fence, reminiscent of those hula dolls for your car dashboard.
Anyway, wish I could be there to see the realtor's reaction as he walked through the house for the first time to appraise it. Noticed how he cleverly wrote up the listing:
[LEFT]UNIQUE MEMORIAL PARADISE NO EXAGGERATION....SEEING IS BELIEVING...

Cheryjohns, here's the deal: I'll dress up as "Tex" from West Texas, enormous hat, bolo tie, boots, the whole 9 yards, and we'll rent a stretch. You can then tour me through the home...
Supposedly the house was sold by someone named George Costello to a Johnny Costello in 2001.

But if you google George Costello Houston, TX you get this link which shows this house address as his place of business with only 3 employees.

I thought it looked like a real-life Cruella DeVille house.

Hey, I like the outside of that house. It has clean lines. That is not what I consider gaudy. This one has an art deco look to it and I like art deco.

Gaudy is fountains, statues, huge flower pots that look like lions, blinding colors and bead-like curlyques all over the place.

Beauty is in the eye..........

added later: I just looked at the interior and a couple of rooms are gaudy. They spoil the overall feel of the house. Love the black and gray. The trophy room is disgusting. That one bedroom looks like the showroom for "Fit as much junk in this room as you can."

Update: This house has been withdrawn from the market. Maybe the listing agent became too embarrassed.
