I really like the park I just wish they would have built it on the east side of 59 & made it much bigger helping to rebuild the area east of 59

DG is a monument to this city's potential that can be realized with a bit of vision.

DG is great, but I'd love to tear out a few more surface lots and expand it.

There was so much hyped about DG so I had to drive there and checked it out 2 weeks ago. There were A LOT of people there and I really liked the activities that they offered. I was disappointed, though, at the size of the park. Considering the size of Houston, I think the Houstonian deverses a much bigger DG and many more of it. We need many more DG parks throughout Houston. Now, that would make Houston a top-notch place to live.

I really wish DG would have been at least 15 to 20 acres not 4 to 8 that it is now

Disco G is indeed a much needed addition to Downtown Houston.

How soon we forget about Cullen Park & George Bush Park, 2 of the top 10 largest urban parks in the nation.

Neither of which are really "In" houston. Herman Park and Memorial Parks are great, but Houston could use some more green and less concrete downtown to attract people living there.

If DG is too small; you can always go to Hermann Park and if that is too small; head over to Memorial Park and if that is too small; head over to Cullen or Bush Park. I think Houston has plenty to offer as far as greenspace. You also have areas surrounding the Bayous.
