This may not be the right forum, but we move out to Cypress from Wisconsin in less than 2 weeks (The Villages st Cypress Lakes) and I need to find out about sports for my kids. Specifically, my 2nd grade son (football or soccer), my 3rd grade daughter (soccer) and my 7th grade daughter (soccer, basketball and volleyball; I assume any available sports for that age are through the school, or am I wrong?). I don't want them to miss out and they are anxious to jump back into their favorite sports. Also, any info on the library and YMCA would be great. Thanks!

I think you'll find a lot of sports leagues outside of school. I see a lot of kids playing soccer in Bear Creek Park.

The Cy-Fair Sports Association is the "big" little league association around these parts with over 10,000 kids and 7 sports going year round:
