Hello I am a single mother of one and I plan on relocating to Texas. I currently live in Baton Rouge, LA and work in the healthcare field. I would love advice on nice areas in Houston or Dallas area that is low on crime, good schools, less traffic and nice growing community/neighborhood.

Sugar Land is very nice. Methodist Sugar Land Hospital is reputed to be a "best place to work."

Sugar Land scores low on crime indices even though they do have incidents like everywhere else within driving distance of Houston. Good schools. Definitely growing. Traffic is a problem anywhere with people and jobs.
