Hill Country is not part of Houston/Suburbs though.

Lived in the 1960 area up until 2010. Been in The Woodlands just over a year and a half now.

Top 3 Likes :

A. The High School Football.
B. Cost of Living. I love my home state, but they call it Taxachusetts for a reason. The Commonwealth taketh and tax.

C. Diversity.

I could think of more, but it asks for 3.

Top 3 Dislikes :

A. The Heat.
B. Lack of reliable public transportaion for a city so large and spread out. ( Mind you I have my own reliable transportation. )

C. No real take out chinese places. Everything is buffet. Same for pizza. Everything is chain or franchise. No neighborhood pizzeria to geta slice or sub.

No offense, but Subway and Pizza Hut/Dominoes,etc are not real subs/pizzas,lol

You live way from the city also. If you lived around Galleria or Midtown area then you have lot of choices for food.

Roughly speaking the area around Austin. Lots of steep granite hills, rivers and lakes. Curving roads everywhere for when I finally get a motorcycle!

It is not as huge as say Devon Av. in Chicago or Edison in NJ but it is better organized and has pretty much anything you would want from very regional food to clothing to movies and music

I saw that in LA back in late 70's. Are you sure it's not imported from the left coast?
