This is an awful story. Just burgle the home and leave the pets and people be.

Hopefully the next home they burglarize has a big rottweiler waiting for them on the inside.

That breed is territorial and was just doing his job, when they broke in, instead of hiding.

It is a big deal - shows how bad some people can be.

People who torture animals also hurt people with no remorse. So many kids age 12+ are often home alone while parents work so thankfully there were no young tweens or teens at home at the time.

Oh my gosh, that's barbaric. Yes, the barking can be so annoying but those dogs are tiny. Doesn't take much to hurt a dog like that and they used an object?

I saw this story earlier! Makes me sick! Whoever did that needs to be tortured as they did to the dog! Sorry but animal cruelty is just wrong!!!!!

I literally can't stand Chihuahuas. Hawks have been known to carry these "dogs" away out here, and if I witnessed that I'd probably get a kick out of it. But what happened here was just uncalled for.
