The Rainbow Room or The Bear Rooms (located all throughout Houston and neighboring counties). They are non-profits not a part of DFPS

BEAResource for CPS Kids - Help & Hope for Abused and Neglected Children

supplies are given to children who have to be removed from their homes for abuse or neglect in emergency situations. many don't have anything and the rooms are typically sparse. not enough people know of this. when kids/babies are dropped off at a home in the middle of the night the foster parents may not have had the time to get all the supplies needed. the rooms are also used for families who are working with CPS but need some help getting everything they need
