I highly doubt that. Most people I know in Sugar Land have much shorter commutes than that, and others have no commute at all as they telecommute.

See, some employment centers are in the center city, and some employment centers are in the burbs.

Areas in suburban school districts make the most sense for people who have jobs in Sugar Land or other outerlying employment centers.

Areas in HISD, IMO, make the most sense to people working in Downtown or Uptown

If housing is going up in ITL then property taxes are going up. How is that cheaper in the long run? Maybe, resale, if you can carry the expense?
