I've had my A/C and heat on several times (within the span of one or two days) during the past couple of weeks. The past two days have been downright humid and warm. Now it's going to be 40 degrees tomorrow morning!

Does anyone else think its a bit early for this type of weather? This is more "typical" of March or April. I'm getting worried about next summer already...

This is simply Houston. One Christmas I remember a white Christmas and the next year the kids are swimming in the pool. There is a saying in Texas "if you don't like the weather just wait a minute" for a reason.

When it's 75 this time of year, humidity is 80-90%-- great for mold growth.

Yeah, I've been around here off and on my whole life so I've experienced Xmas in shorts, swimming in Feb etc. This January feels exceptionally volatile, however.

Like I said, I can see these wild swings in march or April but don't really remember them in January. Who knows what next summer holds in store...hopefully it won't be the hell that last year was.

Weather patterns across the country seem to be wierd the last year or so. Typically Jan-March is the cold weather months here. Then you have 1 month of Spring with 7 months of summer and 1 month of Fall
