A friend of mine was on the design team for this Galleria. When he retired, I was still cussing him. It took 20 years to get a handle on the traffic that place caused. Nobody ever thought about where to put the cars the Galleria would generate.

Last time I was there it was dated and dirty. You can buy the same ol crap anywhere. Why bother? It is full of marauding teenagers or displaced housewives whose perspective is off from the anti depressants.

Not to put too fine a point on it or start something, I just find shopping in Dallas is easier, and has more unique things. Perhaps it is because for me, it is easier to navigate. YMMV

OK. You meant "easier" instead of "serious."

Yikes... that's a bit of a generalization, don't you think?

I went to Nordstrom in the Galleria many times when my oldest daughter was getting married. At the time, I'm pretty sure I was completely off of my Wellbutrin, but I'll have to go back and check.

I went there because it was the one place where I could find a better selection of items than Dillards or Macys, but not have to pay Neidlass Marcup prices.

If you want to shop at Nordstrom, you have to go to the Galleria. You have no choice.

I'll have to take your word for it. Dallas is a wee bit inconvenient for me.

I could easily live the rest of my life without going to the Galleria again. I only go there out of desperation.

I love going to the Galleria. Definitely one of the top locations to people watch in Texas.

People seemed more natural there than some of the upscale areas n Dallas. Pretentious brats or spoiled blondes bimbos gallore in Dallas

I'd go to the Galleria all the time, if it was off of FM 249, or in The Woodlands. I hate driving in that part of Houston.

I've been in my suburban bubble too long I guess.

Why would you want to go any place else? The galleria is the only mall worth going to.

Really, where else in Houston can you find Gucci, dolace and cabana, micheal kors, Burberry? What the hell are you talking about? Do some of you people come on here and make stuff up just to get attention?
