Hi there,

We moved to Cross Creek Ranch last month. After some research and friends recommendation, we decided to use att u-verse for internet and tv services.
The original installation was 12/30/12, however, none showed up and called on that day.
Until we called them, they told us there is an equipment shortage, so I'm not the only one delay and there are others around my neighborhood have the same issue and THERE IS NO ETA to tell when they will have equipment. As big company as att, DO NOT KNOW WHEN THEIR EQUIPMENT WILL COME IN. That made me really shock. Does anyone who recently move to CCR has the same issue with att? Because We really doubt what they told us.
Every time we contact them, they just told us the same answer and transfer our call around the world. It seems that there is none knows what is going on in att. Their customer service really doesn't know what they are doing and not helping(couldn't resolve the issue and keep asking me to switch to att wireless).

Now, it has been 10 days and we still do not have internet and tv...... (Thank god we have Sprint 4G with unlimited plan).
Does anyone have any recommendations for internet and tv services in CCR? Thanks a lot.

I've had no issues that you describe with my Uverse service and install. They have always been relatively on time and service has been consistent for the most part.

Can try comcast for internet and tv, but you really don't have much choice in this area.

My experience has been the same. My only complaint about U-verse is that their On Demand offerings don't seem to be as robust as Comcast's.

You can come get my equipment. I just switched to directv after being an ATT uverse customer for over 6 years, this last year being in Cross Creek. They turned me over to collections for not paying a $260 repair fee for a cut line. Yes my fault for putting a shovel 10" into the ground without finding out where the line was buried at our new house, but so much for customer satisfaction. They'd rather lose the $180/month payment (soon to be much more after the first year incentives are up) just so they can collect their one time repair money. Eff'em.

You are so nice and thank you so much.
However, who knows what exactly going on over there and what equipment they are waiting for because I saw my neighbor had att tech came to his house and had service installed last Saturday.
We are thinking maybe now it's time to cancel it and switch to other company.

Actually (and unfortunately) I was kidding, as I have to return it to ATT eventually. But i wish i could have given it to you!

The only other thing about my situation is that directv partners with local companies for internet. Guess who my only choice is? ATT! lol
oh well, at least it's pretty fast and solid... no complaints there.

I'm not sure if you can get comcast internet in CCR... no idea if that was just a directv thing limiting me or an actual infrastructure issue.
