Same can be said for driving under the influence.

if you are concerned about her driving abilities now that she is older and on opiates (would make sense to be concerned) drive with her and see what the problem is. if you feel she is impaired have everyone in the family talk to her about it. if she doesn't relent take the car and/or keys away. sounds mean, but it would also be mean for her to end up killing someone and you and your siblings having to pay court fees/civil lawsuit. she should be up for renewal soon and have to prove her ability to drive as well

you can google numerous stories from around the country of older people past the point of being able to drive taking a person(s) life. i dont think she'd want to be in that situation.

case in point - the older man who plowed through a outdoor shopping mall in CA that I think ended up killing people. i think he ended up in prison despite being really old (googled: he killed 10 people, wounded 60). i bet the family is still paying off civil suits

Do you know any cops? If so, have one follow her. If she is out of line, they'll get her. The cops in my neighborhood know the errant drivers. They just get them on a busy street.
