Hi, so my husband and I are looking for an apartment within the galleria's area

We are looking for an 1bedroom/ 1 bath apartment with all bill paid (rent, water, electricity, and/or cable included).

Our budget is $940-$980/month. We prefer to live in a gated community, and must be dog friendly since we do have a calm/sweet Siberian husky.

We are just looking for a safe apartment with washer/dryer in the unit or connection at least.

We do not want to live in the gulfton, chimney rock area.

Thanks.

good luck....i haven't searched for apartments in several years, but i do know whenever i saw an "all bills paid" type of apartment, it wasn't in a desireable area....i think with the budget your looking at, you got to look in other areas, IF you're needing all those ammenities.... (washer/dryer, gated, dog friendly, all bills paid)

I think you might have a hard time finding a 1 bedroom in the Galleria area for under $1100 and most apartments ask for a $250 deposit per pet and a $10 monthly charge, and probably a 50 lb. limit.

There's actually quite a bit under 1100 right by the Galleria, and 2 bedroom to boot.

Not going to happen... The Galleria and inside the loop are just as expensive as any city.

All bills paid = apartments that are quite old, because the city started individual metering a long time ago. Those do not tend to have washer/dryer connections in the units, which was not common back in the day. Another issue is the dog size - most have a weight limit.

Google "apartment locator Galleria" and pick one. See how near they can get you.

we were in the same predicament. now we're living in the galleria for 965 a month.

if you want an all bills paid cheap in the galleria it's probably going to be afton gardens.

try fox hall off of I10 as well.

other than that most of them have bad reviews.

i'm at the Tree Tops and I love it so far. nice and peaceful.

That are gated, in a nice complex, allow dogs over 50 lbs, have washer and dryer hookups, and are all bills paid?

Thanks guys :-) I did find a cute apartment complex called "Voss at Park." The price is within my range. The rent is $909 and it included all bills paid (water and electricity). The downside is that they don't have washer/dryer in the unit :-(. But at lease they have laundry room.

The apartment have a gym, swimming pools, theater room, tennis court, laundry room, and each unit have their own patio or balcony.

It is located in a safe gated community, and right across the apartment is a plaza store. the area look pretty safe. my husband and i will sign a 6 months lease to see if we like it or not.

If we don't like it there, then we will have move to a better apartment.

Thanks guys. :-)

Oh we also have to paid for pet deposit. It was pretty affordable, our Husky weigh 35 pounds and the pet deposit was $250. The pet deposit is cheaper compare to the one that we used to pay at our current apartment ($500 for pet, and $300 is non- refundable)
