Not that crazy. 2 years ago there was nothing there. 3 years ago there were acres of trees were the new section of Cinco is. 5 years ago Cross Creek was in its infancy.

There just isn't that much planning. Hard to do with so much unincorporated area. Now if this was all in the city of fulshear, I bet the road would have already been widened. It's not like the growth came out of nowhere

Great post - I enjoy these types of published transit plans.

Also interesting - if you dig into the report you can find long range plans through 2035. They're preliminary at best, but it's interesting to see what TXDOT is looking into.

H.E.B. has purchased land on the West side of 1463 but they have their plans on hold. No one knows why. A CVS has broken ground there though.

The HEB thing is permitting.

Where has a CVS broken ground? There is already a CVS at 1463 and S. Firethorne.

HEB has been on hold for 6 months. With a Walmart going in, good source has it that they are on hold because there are not enough rooftops to support both businesses at this time.

So, I rode through Katy today. I must say, it looks nice in person. The does seem slow and quiet; I guess because it's just really houses on top of houses.
