Never thought about this
but I bet this is another reason why many foreign "grandparents" don't want to move to the US

Aside from the fact that is likely they won't know the language and will leave all their friends behind.

You can not claim your parents as dependent if they applied for greencard thru you.

Thanks and that's good info. They got their green card through other channels and not their kids.
