I'm guessing you missed the winky face icon he had right next to that statement. I doubt any rational person would rank a cities prominence by the order in which the acquire luxury boutiques.

What a silly thing to get worked up over. Even as a fan of nice watches, I couldn't help but be annoyed by your attempt to "one up" everyone with your supposed knowledge.

You're either a troll, a wannabe or a pretentious snob (or possibly some combination of all three).

Thank you, somebody who gets it. He's getting upset because I took a little playful jab at Dallas. He started trolling the minute he said that people no longer wore rolxes and that they were no longer trendy.(Which the article that Pedro posted clearly shows is B.S.)

I'm the one who's "worked up", yet it's everyone else throwing the jabs and troll comments at me. I've been nothing but respectful to everyone else here.

A hit dog will holler, and y'all are barking up a storm right now. So I'll be a pretentious snob, if you all admit to being laymen. It is what it is.

Thank goodness; can't have enough Rolex stores you know. Timex IM watch, ten years old this year. Two batteries, one strap, more hikes, backpacking trips, and trail runs in the Washington Cascades than I could count. Something that is more than just a nice looking device strapped to my wrist.

Luxury shopping destinations seem to be a bit less popular nowadays. People do not want to be distinguished as 'noveaux riches'; others find it wise to live frugally in order to maintain their big fortune. Malls are often visited by middle-class families. Having a middle-class lifestyle is more popular today.
