1 y.o. daycare around med ctr or museum district (YMCA, budget)

my child will be 1 in the summer and I am needing some places to call around now for childcare. I know I am late since he will be 1 in six months but I am looking at different options for me and where I am able to work. I'm more worried about childcare than finding a job. (finding a job is easier).

I know there is a YMCA in the med ctr but what are some other places? I prefer to take him to a church. (specific religion is not an issue). I called First Christian and the list is a little over a year. has anyone been put on first christian's wait list and was called back?

Please list some other places I can try! thanks so much! and my budget is about 1K but of course somewhere around $800 is my preference. I can look into 5 days a week Or 3 days a week--FT. whatever works for my child, I will schedule my work around him. thanks!
