Yes it's just a few intersections that are blocked but that costs traffic to detour onto other streets and when there's a light on every block it makes it much worse. If he was in town for actually something important than I might not be so annoyed but the fact that he's here for a fundraiser to benefit his party and eat dinner with rich people...

how is this any different than the typical Houston closure of lane/s for construction without giving any previous warning.
Last month, on Monday at 7:30am the 2 lane road I take to get to the highway was down to 1 lane (without previous warning) for construction work.
