What trust needs to be established for someone who is getting information about states? I am simply trying to get information about these particular places to help us make a decision to move. Everyone doesn't have to move because of a job, sometimes people simply want a change of scenery. Since we are working in areas where we can choose where we want to live, I wanted to get information from residents of the area. Your name is NTexas, so me looking for advice from Raleigh, NC residents shouldn't bother you. If you have information about Texas, as your name, states then by all means share it. If you don't want to give any information because you feel I am on a "fishing expedition", keep it moving. Thank you.

Woooow.

If you'll notice, I actually did initially respond with genuine questions that would aid in your search and helping other users define your search criteria and possibly narrow the results for you. My hesitation came when I recalled a thread about Pearland and, sure enough, it was yours, which led me to the Baton Rouge - NC insight, and some of the other information provided seemed contradictory at face value. See, this is the internet, and some people enjoy trollin CD forum for the lulz. Call me jaded, but I wanted to verify this wasn't a time sink for myself and/or other people, because it's fairly common to see a thread that, with a little more information from the OP, would be far more useful for everyone involved.

It's just that we have been going back and forth with moving to Texas, but since I would like to start my business we have decided that Texas would be the better option because we initially wanted to move there to start a family. Like I said I have lived in Humble and am familiar with a few areas in Texas. After reading all the other forums, everyone has the same general question so I can understand why one would want to know exactly what the OP is looking for before typing and the OP not even using the information. I said all that to say this, we have decided to rent for 6 months to get a feel for the area ourselves and then will move forward with a builder in the area.
