Need referrals for either a team that does it all on a budget (although I am a little scared at this as I think that there is a big chance that everything will be so-so), or separate groups:
- instal laminate on a small area 250 sq ft (if fee is reasonable we can go for 3 times that)
- electrician to check a section of the house that doesn't work well
- kitchen: reconnect sink, instal faucet, garbage disposal, dishwasher, counter top, fix and paint peeling cabinets (can't afford replacement or refinish)
- bathroom: instal 3 toilets, remove large builder-installed mirrors

And that's the short list. On a teacher budget here, so really limited, but house needs help, can't keep on hiding my head in the sand...
Thanks everybody!!!!

BTW, DO NOT buy Lennard . You'd think I have a foreclosure to deal with, but it is a 10 yr old well taken care of house on a nice neighborhood, just poor quality. 2 out of 3 toilets cracked by themselves (it happened to 3 other owners too at about year 8), causing damage to carpet, subfloor, and garage below. And I am not even including carpet replacement in my list here!!!!

BTW, I highly recommend American Standard Champion 4 toilets. I did a fair amount of research, and these seem to be the best for the price.
