We are in process of choosing what area should we more concentrate for our house search. I used to follow great schools.org but some of posters here says not to follow that site. Please tell me what website to look if I want to see the rating of the school in the area where I am looking for houses.

The areas we are considering is First Colony, New Territory, Shadow creek ranch, Silver lake, or any other area in Pearland that we should add in our list.We love Sugar Land but we don't see any house right now in that meets our taste or they are above our budget , thats why we started looking into peatland because its near to downtown and my husband works there. We are looking under 300k. Any one have any idea about schools at 77498?

Houston School Information and Houston School Rankings: HAR.com

might be helpful. school information should always be researched multiple ways and try more than one site to see if there is any discrepancies which might be flags.

Once you have narrowed your search:

GreatSchools - Public and Private School Ratings, Reviews and Parent Community

You can look up a lot of data on any particular school.

the OP said he used to follow that site but was asking for alternates since feedback on that particular site has been mixed and/or bad

Rita drabek is the only a+ elem school in 77498. The only neighborhoods zoned to this school are Woodbridge and sugar grove. The next best would be barrington place elem and sugar mill.
