Ripping up my old laminate as my 5 stray dogs and 1 cat seem to think the laminate is their personal pee pee central. Anywhere around town has a good deal on either laminate or vinyl wood floor planks? Lumber liquidated has vinyl planks for 69 cents sq ft but not sure about the quality.

Why not try the dazzling selections at Walmart if you are looking for cheap?

If your dogs are peeling on it -- laminate is not the way to go. It will buckle and peel. Why's not rip your old floor up and stain the concrete and just do that? Cheaper and easy to clean. Get some area rugs to accent.

Higher price doesn't necessarily mean superior quality.

Years ago when I used to work in retails and stumble upon a price list from our supplier I almost crap in my pant. Most of the stuffs we sold was often time marked up 4-5 times over. I vividly remember items we paid $7 were sold for about $20 each. 50 cents items were sold at $6 each.

I'm ripping up the floor and replace with new laminate then the little rascals are going to live in the backyard with an AC dog house. Nothing but the best for my buddies

Went to HD earlier and they have 7mm laminate at .57 a sq ft. The online reviews seem pretty solid.

Yeah like one said, stain the concrete, which I think is a cool different look or also go with those ceramic tiles that look like wood.

Be careful of Lumber Liquidators. 60 minutes had a spot about their high levels of formaldehyde off gassing in their laminate products. Way above acceptable levels because in China where it's made they make it specifically for LL. It causes cancer. Tile seems like a better option. Look on you tube for the 60 minutes video. Lots of trouble for L Liquidators now. People are furious.

The ceramic tiles that look like wood are purdy nice. Too bad my my budget is not enough for 3000+ sq f.

Man, what's up with China? They imported eggs, rice , noodle, made out of plastic. Yes I said plastic.

You're not familiar with this culture of cheating, are you?
